When No Answer Is an Answer

Chuck Schumer was asked point blank if he felt the Democrat party mislead the American people about President Joe Biden's mental decline when he called it a "right wing conspiracy." He didn't answer the question, of course. Instead, he rattled on about things that never happened and successes that live only in their imaginations. After the debate performance that ultimately sent Kamala Harris to the top of the Democratic ticket, while Democrats still tried their best to downplay the facts, they had no choice but to admit that something was wrong even if they would not come right out and say the words. Schumer seemed to suggest in his response, though, that Biden's mental acuity remained intact. I'd say that could only be true if what was keeping two boards together was a bolt with no threads. When asked if Schumer thought Biden was capable of serving another four years he said, "I don't want to speculate." In other words, that's a no. The question becomes, as I have become fond of saying, "If you don't know why you lost, you can't know why you weren't winning," does the Democrat party fully comprehend what they did that cost them the House, the Senate and the White House? They lied to the American people about the border. They lied to the American people about inflation being only transitory. They lied about the economy. They lied about the jobs creation. They lied about the sources and causes of the decades high inflation. And they lied to the American people about Biden's health. How can the Democrats regain trust? Especially if they continue to deny the truth about everything?

the democrats lost because they ran a woman as candidate. a non-white woman. America is most racist anti-woman nation in the world.

Hogwash. Biden was losing by a much larger percentage than Harris was and would have lost had he continued to run. Hillary Clinton, although she did not win the presidency, won the popular vote in 2016. Barack Obama was the first black president. You are completely wrong. Kamala Harris was not elected because she was not qualified and did not endorse policies popular with the voting public at large and was part of an administration that largely failed to deliver on their promises and was a disaster leading to open borders, high levels of crime, 40-year high inflation, and wars around the world.

@jaylar Amazing to me the ability of some people to completely dismiss facts. One day your house will be on fire and when they bring water, you'll say nope and believe the ashes are a beautiful, fully amenitied house.

They definitely weren’t transparent about Biden’s mental decline.

No. They weren't. And they knew the truth all along. So, the question is, why were they hiding it? And more importantly, who the Hell was running the country?
