Hello all and happy new year to you all. I will start by saying that new years did not start the way I expected. It started with my wife going to the ER on new years eve. Her gallbladder was acting up and had to have surgery. The surgery was a success and she was released later that evening. Now its a recovery process but at least now there will not be any more pain like that. This was here second gallbladder attack in 2 years.

Hope your wife has a speedy recovery. Two of my daughters have had their gallbladders removed and I know how painful those attacks can be.
Happy 2025 and that the year ahead is a good one for you

Not the start we want with the year. Sorry to hear this . Well, atleast the surgery was successful and you could reach at the right time. Perhaps with followups , and other recommendation from doctor , there would not be any trouble hopefully for your wife. I hope there is less or no pain now for your wife and hope she is almost recovered from the events. Your wife is blessed to have you taking care of her well. I am pretty sure she would have told you the same as well. Well wish you and wife better days in 2025 . Things will hopefully turn out better in coming days. Take care!

You are right. Not the start of the year we wanted but now the hard part is over. Now the recovery time will be a few weeks and then back to normal living
