It's Day #3 of the Winter Storm. No more activity expected today just frigid temperatures in the low teens and maybe even single digits.
We got 9" of snow on Sunday, 1.5 inches of ice on top of that, then 2" more snow on top of that.
I live in a patio home community with an HOA, so our streets were plowed yesterday and our sidewalks and driveways were hand-shoveled. All at no cost to me.
I don't know if we're planning to venture out today or not.

I agree with you. HOAs charge you every month. With a sn*w situation like this, you can pay someone generously to shovel your driveway and not have to worry about that HOA charge for the other 11 months. Plus, they won’t tell you to take your Florida State flag down (a neighbor of mine has a Florida State Seminoles flag on his house)!!!

We got ice first, and then four inches of snow. It blows into much deeper drifts in my yard.

Atleast you do not have to shovel snow yourself

I’m going to kick Brian Goode’s rear end in August at the State Fair.
I rescheduled my DexaScan for March (“when we’ll be dodging tornadoes,” I told the clerk ). She said the road up to the hospital is AWFUL. (Don’t know if you’ve ever seen that road going up to the VA hospital, but it’s 2.0 lanes, winding, and steep. NO room for error.)

That is a lot Lou.
Not much snow here as yet but its snowing now and bone chilling outside.
Be careful if you do wander out.
