Happy Hump Day!!

Happy hump day out there. We have made it to Wednesday...barely it seems. Everyone is going through something and sometimes it's just hard to keep your head up. Sometimes it's all you can do to make it to the next day. So this is me. Sitting here at my computer. Not knowing what you may be going through. Just saying that you made it another day. You did it. I'm proud of you. Don't give up. I don't know who needs that but it's there and it's sincere. I have two friends that we do things like that to each other often because we each are going through different versions of crap right now and sometimes it's just nice to hear. I go back to Chris's today to sit with grandmom. Our dryer isn't fixed yet so she's letting me do a load of laundry over there. It's not a big deal to her but it is to me and I appreciate it. I'm trying to remember she's a friend and everything that she has gotten recently isn't really a big deal. It's working a bit. I want her to succeed don't get me wrong but there's favoritism in our department and she may not see it but she's in that crowd. This morning I gave our pup Cuddles a pepsi bottle. Empty of course. See, Scooby Doo loved to chew on bottles but Cuddles hasn't figured out that she's allowed to tear them up. So I have two videos of her trying to push it and she was barking at it. It's actually really cute. Dad had his surgery yesterday. He got the watchman put in for his heart and it went amazing. He did so well that he even came home the same day. So now he's home and resting and I'm still tired from waiting up for them last night lol. I'm just happy everything went well. There was no puzzle last night. The Harry Potter one still needs glued which means I still need parchment paper. I didn't feel up to doing another 3D crystal puzzle either. I didn't even get to read. Grandmom came out and sat with me the whole time I was there yesterday and then when I got home and made dinner and binged Hell's Kitchen with the hubby. I'm now about half way through season 3 of Hell's Kitchen. I'll keep going. It's hard to believe that there's 23 seasons. I remember watching these seasons but I didn't think I was watching it that long. Guess I have been. Oh well, other sites to get done. We aren't going to get a new pen for the cats handed to us or a house so I need to get to work. What is on everyone else's agenda today?

Couldn't the pup get sliced if the Pepsi bottle is torn open? You've had a busy time. I hope you get some rest that your dad does alright.

@celticeagle We don't let her have it when she breaks the plastic but she's usually done with it before then. She's not unsupervised with it.

No, the bottle crushes it doesn't break. Scooby used to chew on them all the time, Cuddles isn't sure what to do with them right now.

I'm glad your dad is doing well. I need to start getting paperwork together to do the taxes. I'm already behind. Have a great day.

I hope that you can catch up. We haven't even started taxes yet. I don't think anything will start rolling in until next month

Happy Wednesday! I can agree that we're all probably going through stuff and getting through the day can be a big accomplishment. I just say "a day at a time" and some days it's an hour at a time. I've watched all the seasons of Hells Kitchen and am enjoying this current season. No matter what season you watch there's always a problem with the scallops

lol you are so right! At least it's a consistent show lol. Right now we're a day at a time. I try to make a plan for the day and carry it out so I don't dwell on what I can't control. If I can make the plan or even just work toward a goal, I can pretty much make it through.

Well, great to see we made it to Wednesday. Good to hear the surgery was a success and you dad has come back home. That should be a relief. For me , I had lot of work to do and well that kept me busy all time but then I need to speed up on things and get things moving. There are deadlines and I would have to work on the weekends as well. I completed watching all the episodes of the old Tv series "The Mentalist" staring Simon Baker. Last few days , I was watching 2-3 episodes of the series. I am completed all the 7 seasons . Hope you are having fun time with pets . I hope the pepsi bottle stays in one piece for next 2 days. Take care!

I watched that show. I never did get to the end though. I have a very low attention span lol. I think I can get through Hell's Kitchen because I've technically watched most of them already so I don't have to pay attention.
