China's New Year gift to the world - HMPV

Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV) is buzzing across web-world & the speculation is that whether there would be another outbreak or not!!
While few vloggers from China says that things are normal in the country and its a global rumour, HMPV cases are getting detected in other Asian countries. Not sure, whom to trust and whom not to!!

Yes; we have not yet forgotten the onslaught of Covid; and now it is another virus from China. But I think we are better prepared now to face it. So far as I know; we have as many as five cases.

Yes, it is making headlines in the newspaper and other news sources in the last few days. The cases are being reported, so far in single digits officially in India. Our school has sent mail to parents and teachers. Anyone with any cold, cough and other symptoms are asked not to come. Keeping fingers crossed.

The internet says most people have had HMPV before they're 5 years old and, if you've already had it, it's similar to a cold. It's only dangerous if you haven't had it before. So children between the ages of 6 months and 1 year old or people over 65 with compromised immune systems.
Hopefully, the internet is telling the truth and isn't being manipulated by the government to keep people from panicking.

@DaddyEvil Its snowing in parts of extreme north of India....but where I belong, there's no such winter season, snow is far-fetched

I think China really wants virus and so greedy to take advantage on it to conquer other countries, I can still remember Bill Gates saying that... maybe it is not nuclear bombs in the future, maybe in the future people will use viruses and not nuclear weapons to attack. I am really praying for God's protection specially in our country. If God is with us no one can attack us.
