Prayers to LA!

Are we living in the end of times? I feel like 2025 hast not started off the way I expected. Between domestic terrorist attacks, school shootings and now devastating wild fires, this is a bit much to start the new year.
I pray that everyone makes it out safe. I have been seeing a lot of ignorant post online about people saying only the rich are affected but this fire has burned over 18,000 acres and engulfed entire towns into flames.
I’m sending a prayer to everyone affected and for the fire fighters that are putting their lives at risk to try and help those caught in the fire’s path.

It ticks me off when people act like rich people deserve to lose everything. First, you’re right…not even close to the rich are being affected. Secondly, it is devastating to lose your home, rich or not. Jealousy is an ugly thing for these thoughtless commenters.

I agree, this could happen to anyone anywhere. Wild fires don't discriminate

You are so right. It doesn’t matter if they are rich or poor. Last night on a news channel, they showed homes on fire that were definitely lower income. It’s not just the rich people who lost homes.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX Well, that may well be the case. However, the fires have been burning LONG before the war started. lol

Its almost incomprehensible seeing the destruction from these fires. I am also praying for those fires to be contained and no loss of life.

I came across one picture making rounds on social media... the comparison between the town before fire and after fire. It was scary to see the devastation that the fire has caused. Sending prayers.
I stayed in Rohnert Park ( California) for a little more than an year.
