Papers signed

Signed our life away yesterday. I signed so many papers, that I felt like I had bought a car, a boat, and a house all at once. Went to the house to measure windows and such, but could not figure out how to get the heat going. We were told the remote for the garage door was in the kitchen drawer, but wasn't. We decide which bedroom was mine, and where my desk will be in the office. Checked out the garage, and opened the door with the insied button. Someone has been feeding a cat on our carport, and left a kitty carrier there for the cat. I don't have a problem with that. But no cats in the house. We went home to warm up, and I had a doctor's appointment. While I was doing what I needed to do, Tom was meeting up with the manager of the rental, and learning how to turn on the heat. Tom wanted some buckets to move some of his things, so I went to Firehouse Subs and got 4 of their Pickle Buckets. They sell them for $3 with the lid. My van now smells like Pickles. Then went to Walmart. I was stunned. They have very few curtains or table cloths in the store. Might as well go to Amazon. Since we can't smoke in the house, we do not want to take the curtains from this house, even washed they won't be really fresh. Anyway, now on to getting rid of JUNK, and packing up memories.

Shifting and settling in a new place might take some time. But seems like things are going good there so far. Amazon has a plenty of choices for curtains. I checked it few months back. Most of the doors and windows now in my home have blinds now, but I still have curtains for few to retain the aesthetic look.

Curtains help keep you warm as well as block out light in the bedroom. Just curtains hanging from the sides in the living room. The new house has a lot of windows and light..our old house had very few windows. I think there are like 3 windows in my bedroom and 2 in my office. The office has curtains already in it, but they don't match. LOL I like the Blue ones, so I will try and find another set.

It's hard to find nice curtains anywhere now without ordering. Amazon does have a very nice selection.

Moving house is a good opportunity to get rid of junk and clutter. You have some busy days ahead. I hope it all goes well.

Congratulations!!! And I know what you mean about signing things. I think I signed more paperwork when I bought my house than I did when I joined the Navy. I’ll send you some cat food for the neighborhood strays!!
