It is sunny and cool here in Northern California. We were blessed with a decent amount of Fall rain and are not a much of a tinder box as Southern California. I believe my friends in Santa Barbara are doing OK. I will try to check in with them later.today. Santa Barbara is about 100 miles North and West of Los Angeles (and 330 miles South of me here). . Los Angeles has had little rain in recent months, plus they are experiencing "Santa Ana Winds," sometimes in excess of 80 miles per hour, fanning the flames and sending them into many residential areas. I had not heard of "Santa Ana Winds" until I lived in Santa Barbara is in 1980s. I hope your day is going well. I am off to Mark's house to work on tunes for his band, Durt Cheap. I will continue to work on that Bruce Cockburn song I have been learning. I may show the guitar Chords to Mark, but it's not a song we would do in his band. He focuses on "classic country."
