Sell or Donate?

I was so excited to get a pair of shoes in the mail to review, but was so disappointed when I discovered they were the wrong size (my foot won’t even fit in them). The company told me to do what I wished with them, and my inclination was to donate them. But my sister looked up the retail price, and they are kind of expensive (at least to me) so she said to sell them (no, they aren’t like thousands of dollars). I also think it would be awkward to sell shoes online (probably via Facebook). Is that odd? I don’t know the size which is definitely a problem. I think it would be cool for someone to be at Goodwill and come upon nice, brand new shoes.
What do you guys think? Where would be a good place to sell them if I did?

I think selling them online would not be bad. Take a look inside the shoes and on the sole to see in there is a note of the size,

I guess either ebay or FB marketplace. There isn't a size number on them? It probably would be hard to sell them without that. But if you decide to donate them, I'd recommend Salvation Army. They do so much to help others. I like to shop at Good Will, but they are strictly for profit.

@AmbiePam I like to donate to homeless shelters, and to shops run by churches or our hospital auxiliary.

@GardenGerty I don’t know if they are practical for homeless shelters as the shoes are very dressy, but you never know.

It would be nice to take them to Goodwill or another charity.

You've looked for the size on the bottom of both shoes, on the inside heel of both shoes and looked at the bottom of the tongue (where the tongue would touch your ankle or there about), right? You could ask the company that sent them what size they actually sent. Other than that, I don't know how to locate a size, either.

I think they would be a wonderful blessing to someone if you donated them.

I am not sure if good will would take them. But, THere's a lot of places. You can always go to a second-hand store and pawn them off if you wanted to get some cash for them.

Sorry you can't find the size. That's a good question whether to sale or donate though. I honestly don't know what I'd do either.
