9 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from a mildly cold Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. My computer says 26 F. That's the warmest it's been at night in a long time. They say we're getting snow on Sunday. I hope so. Today was a good day and a different day. I spent time on the computer this morning, but couldn't get here like I planned and didn't get the notifications finished, or worked on a book. I can't watch television and work on the computer at the same time. I watched the funeral for President Carter. I'm thankful I have all my steps. I walked the halls after the funeral. I'm thankful for my neighbor who took me for my hair appointment this afternoon. Instead of coming straight home, we went to Hy-Vee where I picked up a couple items I needed, and she did too. From there we went to her bank to try to get her account straightened out. Then we went to Target for dog treats. She has Missy and a cat named Caley, a Calico. As long as Caley doesn't touch me, I'm fine as I'm allergic to cats. After Target we went to Culver's, and then came home. It was daylight when we left. It was dark when we came home. I'm thankful for the new Fitbit I bought at Target. The band broke on the old one. I have this one synched to the old one, so I have all my steps on the Fitbit, which are more than on the phone app. I'm thankful I worked on the foot cycle tonight while my neighbor and I watched television. I put in over an hour on the cycle. It took care of all the calories for what I ordered at Culver's. I'm hoping Culver's didn't hurt the scale tomorrow morning. I'm thankful I got the laundry done this morning. I had the laundry in the washer by 4:10 AM. Okay, that was my day. It's well past my bedtime. As you can see, I did more than I planned.
