It is a sunny day and things look bright

With our extra snow last night, it is piled high, but thankfully the sun is shining.
The snow came straight down more or less. We did not have the heavy winds we had last week.
Bob was saying to his sister on the phone "I wish I had a scarf" so I went and unpacked all the cold weather gear he has not worn in years. We have scarves, and gloves, and mittens, and hats, etc. We are set for the season, but I am staying in today.
Are you staying comfortable where you are?

So you did get some? I cancelled a trip down, rather reluctantly, but we got more snow and you guys were supposed to get some as well.

@GardenGerty Oh yeah, we got a good amount. It made for a very pretty view, just continuous snowfall.

I am. I went out to feed the critters this morning when I first got out of bed, and I’ve been inside since. I’ve been the domestic diva: vacuumed the floors and did the laundry. I also made a nice lunch. We have a winter storm warning here. One of the local meteorologists said he’s not shaving until it gets above freezing. If that’s the case he might end up looking like the guy in the Oak Ridge Boys.

I am a little more domesticated than usual, mopped the east half of my kitchen. When it dries I will move to the west kitchen. Need to vacuum. I always need to vacuum.1 person likes this

I like the ones that are a continuous circle, not tight around the neck. I manage to get the long ones zipped into things inadvertently.

It's still snowing here. The road grader just went down our street again. I'm not sure how much we have right now. It's halfway up the hubcaps on my car and the trash can at the curb is 1/3 buried now.
Yes, I'm staying inside where it's warm.

With the sun reflecting off the snow it is really bright. I like bright days better than gloomy ones.

It's bitterly cold outside; and I'm staying inside Tomorrow we will get a break. It will be 31 for a couple of days; and then another cold front will hit. Have a good weekend.
