I read this story in the news yesterday and it saddened and irked me so I wanted to address it and discuss it. I'm sorry if this is triggering to anyone. The Suffolk County Sherriff's office reported in a news conference that deputies had been called out to an RV park, Lovey's Landing in Meridian, California(north-central part of the state) on January 5th by the manager. It seems that a resident of the park had gone to ask a mother about her son when the resident had not seen him around for quite some time. A fight had started and that is when the manager called 911. Responders had gone inside the trailer and found the dead body of the 11-year-old boy. Allegedly his mother had suffocated him and he had been left in the trailer for several days. When officers questioned the mother she seemed to be in a manic state as if perhaps she was on drugs. You can read the story below: There are all the usual questions. How can a mother do such a thing? Why the drugs? Etc. Suffocation is a very personal way to kill someone. What must have transpired before this death? How can a human be in the same area as a dead body and not do something? I find this type of thing so very hard to understand.
A California woman was arrested and charged with murder after her 11-year-old son and three dogs were found dead in the RV park where they lived.

That's why I never had any kids... I was sure I'd end up killing them.

Those kinds of people should be locked up and the key thrown away or better yet have the same thing done for them and just be rid of them for good,
