Looking at the ingredients that go to make Mayonnaise it is loaded with calories. No doubt it enhances the taste of food when it is added I make a curd dressing to replace Mayonnaise The curds is enriched by adding mustard paste, a touch of sugar and salt. You can also add some chopped coriander leaves. The curd dressing is healthier Image credit:

I have tried making it and found it to be cumbersome- that drop by drop olive oil going in therie made me lose my patience

Does it taste similar to mayonnaise? I used 3/4 of a cup of Mayonnaise today in a 11x9 dish. That’s quite a bit!

@allknowing I know how yogurt tastes I don’t think curds is similar though I’ll have to look it up.
