California Fires...

The news is so sad. My sympathy to all families who lost their homes to the fire. My big question is that, what caused it? I mean how did the fire grew that big , thank God Canada is helping them now.
My aunt, who is my mom's first cousin posted a photo and is thanking the first responders of the fire in their area , its not an easy task , so my prayers too for all the firefighters and the police on duty.

If the fire is up the hill its very difficult to reach them , unless they will use helicopters , if only there is enough water to use, I saw in the news they are short of water ...

The winds reached 100mph, a rare occurrence, and that spread the fires faster than any other reason. Also, when some, not all, of the firefighters went to use the fire hydrants, the water pressure was either low, or they couldn’t get any water at all. There will be an investigation on what happened with that. But you just can’t prepare for 100mph winds.
*I’m quite bothered by the misinformation in one of your responses. But I know you can discern what is true and what is make believe.

That's really sad and traumatic.
Reason, there's two reason, if you are not into believing the God of Christians, that can't be mock that sadly they mocked and laughed at Him during their awards night., then it is the incompetence of their chosen leaders. cutting the budget of the most needed funds every year to protect the people from wildfire, and giving the jobs of most men as firefighters to women.

Oh, I saw the video of that too. The girl host mocked the Pope too, its just sad that jokes like that wasn't called for. Just like what they did in Brazil too.

They don't know yet how they started but that area has very strong winds right now to spread the fire fast

That must be very scary. I hope it will rain in LA so that it can cool off the fire . The only remedy I can think off is doze of or water the trees if the fire is still far from their area, or better yet cut off the bushes and trees first so that it wont spread with strong winds.
