Which is better, nucleor family or joint/extended family

family is backbone to anybody in the world. we draw our strenth of character, morals, values, security, etc from our family. joint/extended family has its own merits. it is always better.

I'd love for my son to be closer to extended family. I think it's really good for children to have more family. I can see how happy he is when he visits his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
