I Found Another Movie

I like Robert Mitchum. He has done westerns, war movies, thrillers, all manner of films in his career. Many of them were where he played a real scoundrel so many don't like him. The films I like best of his are Holiday Affair and The River of No Return. He portrayed strong and good men in both. But, recently I found another rather obscure film that he must have done in England. It is called Foreign Intrigue (1956) and had Genevieve Page in it as well. After his billionaire boss suddenly dies Dave Bishop sets out to discover the source of his mysterious employee's wealth. He finds out that he was blackmailing several people. Those blackmailed are now afraid he is going to take over blackmailing and they are not pleased. The film is well-written and acted. Not one that will go on my favorites list but it is pretty good.
