Monday, Monday, the day was dreary and overcast here today. There are snow streamers coming through currently. It feels like it is getting old, but it IS winter time.
I try to make comfort food for us on such old and dreary evenings for supper.
Tonight I have some little meatballs that I made and have them in muffin tins in the oven. I make some with bisquick on the bottom of the tin and then that browns while the meatball cooks. I like that taste. My hubs prefers just the meat. I will open a can of pork and beans to go along with it. Comfort food on a cold day.
We will have a little piece of cake afterwards too. I made a small one for us and this large one for our son and his family. The girls loved it, the strawberries and the chocolate were a huge hit for those 2 little ones.

I am so happy to see you back again, you must have been very busy off line.
He has to take the girls to a birthday part late this afternoon, and he will be home late, so this gives me something to reheat for myself. he can reheat some for him when he returns.

@Juliaacv - I am so busy every day now. We called a mover to have an estimate of how much the move will cost and also to know if he can take care of what we will not bring with us.
He will be exhausted when he returns home, something easy to reheat will be perfect for him.

Your supper sounds delicious, I love chicken.
I have to call the butcher today and place an order.
I just dread the thought of driving all of the way out there at this time of the year.
You never know what the road conditions will be like, but we are getting really low.

@Juliaacv hope you can get your order in and a pick up without a hassle. I hate always having to worry about road conditions all winter long.

Sounds yummy. I had the last of the sloppy Joe mixture and some chips. I thought about heating up the ribs, but I will do that tomorrow. I was out this afternoon..and didn't feel like putting too much effort into a square meal.
