I decided to

What did you decide to do today? Of course if you still work for a boss, you did what you were told. Otherwise, what choices did you make today? My world has had not quite freezing gray and fog all day today. I chose to start the week with a 40 minute water workout. A lady joined me in the kiddo pool and told me all about her fibromyalgia and how the warmer water felt good. I just kept moving my limbs and every so often I'd put in an "Okay!" or "yeah." Hubby has been busy helping me get cardboard to the reycling toter. We're in the start up stage of figuring what to do with a far back room. The room is the size of a crib. Odd little place. One big thing the room needs is heat. Total brrrrr back there. The photo is one I took when friend and I went on our shopping tour. I liked the display in the tea shop. So I snapped a photo and there you go. Tonight's supper was simple and tasty. Brothy simmered mushrooms and onion with vegetable dumplings that I found in the store's freezer. Leftover green salad on the side that had a teeny bit of salmon and feta cheese. Mostly greens.

I wonder why some people feel the need to talk when they don't need to and other people wish they wouldn't? Weird. (I bet you thought I was gonna start a story. ) I slept most of the day, like always. Pretty played online and slept part of the day. I didn't feel like making anything for dinner tonight so I just ate some of the Summer Sausage, Colby cheese and a couple of potato rolls. It was good. Pretty said she'd find something to eat later. *shrug* (She doesn't like Summer Sausage or Colby cheese.) I did get trash ready to go out when we go shopping tomorrow. We're supposed to be in the mid-40s and we need to pick up meds from the pharmacy. Nothing else going on here. I hope you have a restful night.

@DaddyEvil Potato rolls sound very tasty. (Half a pound of butter on them would be nice, too.) I have a heating blanket so that will help me get good sleep. Thanks.

@sallypup I don't put butter on the rolls. I like them the way they are, soft and chewy. YUM! I'm glad you'll be comfortable.

@DaddyEvil Do you remember the Heidi book or and movie? Heidi brought soft rolls to the Grandmother.

If that room doesn't get below freezing you could put up shelves for a pantry. Unless you already have that.

@wolfgirl569 Thanks for the suggestion. Not freezing in there but not warm-comfy. No on us having a pantry or a broom closet. Crazy house. Going to have to close my eyes and dump.

@sallypup Then it would work great for that. You don't want to store even canned goods where it's warm for months

@wolfgirl569 Summer can get pretty warm here for a month or so.

I was busy onlline today and also did some sorely needed cleaning in the kitchen. Yesterday, I took alot of cardboard to be recycled. You have to break all the boxes down. That box cutter comes in super handy. Everybody else must have had the same idea as the bins were almost totally full. I was lucky I could fit mine in. Cute display. How many rooms are in your house? It sounds big. Is it Victorian?

@sallypup Sounds interesting seems like it would be expensive to heat though. Sis used to have an apartment years ago which was essentially the top of a farmhouse. I loved it because it had so many cupboards and little cubbies

@snowy22315 Busy you. This house was built in 1900. Technically it is Victorian though I think it looks like a generic farmhouse. How many rooms? Do enclosed porches count as rooms? There are three bedrooms- two used as studies. The upstairs bathroom used to be a bedroom so there is a little closet attached to that- we've turned that into a mini parlor. The downstairs is open. End toward the front is living room. Toward the back and the kitchen is the dining room. There is a no persons area by the wooden staircase by the front door- is that the vestibule? Good question. Thanks. Two little rooms off the good sized back porch-laundry room. I have no clue if this makes sense.

That pool workout sounds like it would be invigorating and certainly good for tired and aching bones. Pretty picture of the tea shop display. I love drinking tea from a china cup.

@Marilynda1225 I'm a teacup collector. Your comment reminds me that its getting toward time for me to set out some cups and have afternoon tea with my hubby. That sounds silly but teatime slows us down and makes us pay attention to each other.

What do you think you will do with the room? Our house has a very small room too and we've set it up with quite a bit of shelving. Our friends with the same floor plan has made theirs a little office.

@JudyEv Good question. Two rooms, side by side, each one maybe could hold a twin bed. The end tiny room has lovely flooring- not sure who went to the expense or why?? It needs a focus. HEAT then a focus. I wish I had a real answer to your question.

Supper sounded good. I love the display you found in the tea shop. I hope you get the back room done quickly.
