For Chris' birthday movie, we went to see Wicked. I haven't read the book yet, but I thought Chris would like it. It has Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Jeff Goldblum, Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Bailey, Peter Dinklage, and Bronwyn James in it. Big Warning: there is a little bit of violence. Semi Spoiler Below. In this movie, a girl named Elphaba is born green because of potion her mother drank while pregnant. She has magical powers. Her sister has be invited to attend an university. Their father wants Elphaba to watch over her sister while she gets settled. Elphaba get mad and shows her magical powers to everyone there. One girl there is jealous, but they become friends. Elphaba get invited to see the Wizard who turns out to be a fraud. Elphaba gets mad and that is how it ends. There will be a part two. Of course I do want to see it.
