A Huge Game

So it's been asked of the events comittee to see if we can come up with a new game idea for Christmas with the department. The game that has been played for years has been Dirty Santa. It's a great game and it includes everyone. We have between 70-80 members on the department throughout the year. What game could we play at Christmas that would involve everyone and let everyone get a gift? It's a puzzle that's for sure. If we can't think of anything, we're going to come up with new rules for Dirty Santa and actually print them out for everyone. Do you have any suggestions?

We have always played Secret Santa during Christmas at our school, colleges and workplace. It's the same since decades now but still is interesting.

It was talked about, the problem is we don't know everyone that well. On the other hand it would be a good way to get to know people as well.

Guess the person in mind . The theme could be personalities from selected fields of expertise and the teams could guess what the other team has guessed . You could even have a quiz about your department and the topics could be around the polices and achievements so far. It would be better to have more a game and people would be interested in having more fun. People gets more live after one session , so second game could always help people to get to know others better. Those are the two which came to my mind. I am not sure if physcial activities would be possible because of the office arrangements. Well, enjoy the time!

That was one of the ideas my friend Chris came up with, like trivia.

A new vamp to an old game is always good. Scavenger hunts are fun but sometimes hard to set up.
