I am on a liquid diet today! Because I am having surgery tomorrow! Ugh! I thought that meant jello too. But the nurse said no!
Drinking chicken broth, hot tea and water! She said I could have deluted apple juice, yuk! And the clear Gatorade, yum! And also have a clear popsicle.
I was worried about the surgery, but now I am worried if I am going to starve to death before I even get to the hospital.
Please pray for me.

I think it all has to be digested easily to get through the intestine. Where do you find a 'clear' popsicle. I hope the surgery goes well.

@dfollin ........Is that water then? Save up your money from here and get something good after you are able to. I'm a foodie and I couldn't go too long. I admire your fortitude.

@dfollin 24 hours I was not allowed to eat before my surgery, and for the next 1 month I am only allowed to eat liquid food. and for the next month I am allowed to eat soft food, and on the third month.. I am allowed to eat solid food. You are going to be fine.

I will be praying for you since I can relate to what you are going through when I was scheduled to get an operation for a colonoscopy a few years ago that was cancelled due to not having the proper paperwork.
