It is a frigid night here in the Neon Fun Jungle ((4F, -16C)) and, in the interest of full disclosure, I'll tell you that I'm not a big Jack Kerouac fan. I like watching him on the Steve Allen Show but I'm glad that I read "On The Road" only once. Because once was more than enough.
It wasn't assigned reading for a class, either. I read it, voluntarily, for "fun." And failed.
Speaking of failure, President Musk is having a bad day. He is being sued by the SEC ((SEC Sues Elon Musk Over Twitter Stock Buys, Escalating Long-Simmering Feud, Article Linked Below)).
Speaking of an even bigger failure, President Leon Musk's sidekick and caddy, Donny What's-His-Name, is also having a bad day ((Rachel Maddow returns to nightly MSNBC show for first 100 days of Trump presidency, Article Linked Below)).
Do we have room for a third failure? I think so. That's why I'm going to tell you about the guy I saw on TV tonight who said, "LA is on fire because of all the Gay people who live there."
Is he auditioning for a spot on FOX News? Or is he applying for a cabinet post in the Musk/What's-His-Name Administration? It could go either way.
He could be the next friend on FOX And Friends. Or he could be our next Attorney General.

OMG...and I thought America was more advanced. Gays and California fire...really...and he even reached the post he did...
As to Musk and Donald....they are more like Tom and Jerry...type. Just that it gets confusing who is Tom and who is Jerry....such mutating version.
I of course will not understand much of those links...but I am extremely disappointed with Trump making noise about Canada should be joining the US, and Panama is overcharging...if you feel it is overcharging...make people pay with tariffs, so that they stop importing unnecessarily and if the business starts coming down from the US, Panama would naturally rethink and offer discounts....
That is how it goes on in the trade world.........not pointing fingers...

@xander6464 Not always. Higher tariiffs translate into inflation only on essential items. Discretionary expenses can always be deferred and planned.

The problem with tariffs is that they only raise prices. And Americans are dumb enough to pay them, so demand wouldn't be affected.
