Should our personal time take priority over all other commitments?

Most of us wake up in the morning thinking about work commitments, financial commitments, personal commitments or other commitments. The stress of these ones along with the events happening around us and globe are at times affecting our personal wellbeing and happiness. We often sacrifice our personal well being and happiness in order to get things completed at work, financial gains, personal or social obligations. This often leads us to stress and burnout and life becomes mechanical. This is where a little “personal time” comes to picture. I see a lot of professionals stressed. In fact, their families are equally stressed. There are lot of hours of work, there is bad traffic, pollution, family troubles, pet troubles and financial challenges. A little personal time to recharge physically mentally and perhaps emotionally would be wonderful. This could be 1 to 3 hours or more. That little personal time allows us to remain aloof from all the troubles and be ourselves and rediscover happiness in ways possible. So, what do you do during your personal time?

When my eyes aren't swollen shut, I usually read a book on my phone, play on myLot or cook something delicious. I hope you're doing well today.

i think it's better not talking about work at home, all the time.

@RevivedWarrior it really is. okay, i permit it if there are some stressful moments but replacing conversations with only job updates, that's not fun, for people that are listening
