I am a huge fan of the television game show called "Wheel Of Fortune" since it is based on the game called "Hangman.'
During the taping of the game show that has been on television for 50 years, a contestant named Rhea solved a puzzle that read "Will you marry me?" since her boyfriend Robin had a chat with the host of the show Ryan Seacrest to have the answer to have his girlfriend solve the puzzle thinking it was part of the show.
When Rhea solved the puzzle, Robin walked out from the behind the stage to propose to Rhea who accepted his proposal.
It is very odd for a contestant on the show solve a puzzle during the toss up round and find out that the message for marriage was for real.

I am in agreement with you that it is a good way to propose to the person of the opposite gender.

That is a nice story, and it was good that the game show was flexible, with its rules, and allowed this to happen.
