Awakening to yourself, never needs you to develop a new self

I read this on the Internet recently, written by some religious scholar.
"Only the awakened can guide others to be awake."
I thought about it, and came to the conclusion, that it is just not true.
No, this is not true, as even the unawakened can teach you something, and everyone, and everything, can guide you to be more awake, so, do not limit your growth by proudly only listening to those you esteem as being already awakened.
On the other hand, awakening is more illusion, than truth.
Nobody should waste their time trying to improve themselves.
They should realise that trying to polish their own mirror only ever maintains a false illusion.
Self-improvement works in the short term because it gives you the awakened consciousness to suspect the truth.
In the long term then, though, this ticket of consciousness must be dropped, as you realise you are not on a journey, needing a ticket after all, at all.
You are simply a part of God being God.
Nothing improves oneness, because oneness just changes its orientation out of sheer orneriness, or boredom. There is no point to anything; all is just as it is, and that is its point.
It is love that brings creation to life, and creation, when it embraces love, creates self-improvement, but this is only a ladder that it must climb to reach out of itself, once more again, and to see that all is God, because love always energises all, in exactly the same way, when they allow it to.
The only self-improvement possible is to realise the non-love that is presently in you, get rid of it, and then return yourself to the fullness of real love, which can never be anymore improved upon.
Perfect love is always perfect love. No improvements are ever necessary.

A flower never needs to improve itself; it just is forever itself.

I never listen anything based on religion. And, self-improvement is important. But it has to be something you want to do to be more comfortable in your own skin and be the best you , you can be.

I think that we already have this best self inside of us, so we just have to step into it, to be it.
This is our best personality self for us, and our higher self, or soul self, whereas learning with the brain, is about learning, not trying to become our best self, by just learning stuff to try to change us. We cannot become our best self by just learning facts.
All the extra learning will not change who we are, just stuff our brains with facts, so we should use discrimination to try to ascertain exactly what we need to know, instead of just overlearning, and so becoming too full of facts, and not being enough of who we really are.

The common folks are forced to lead a guilt-filled life as he is bombarded with not measuring up.
We have to lead a life of fulfillment, and too much self-introspection will ruin our peace of mind.
My approach is to lend a helping hand whenever I can - a selfish life is a misery and a selfless one gives us fulfillment.
I keep my lifestyle uncomplicated and think simple. no need to rack my brain.
All are God's creation and have a role to play. Let us encourage them positively rather than nitpicking and judging to create havoc.

Yes, the overemphasis on asking people to measure up and to make of themselves something not matching their personality, or life purpose, causes much angst, and is a cause of mental stress too.
Uncomplicated, is the best way, living simply, without stressing about trying to be someone that we are not cut out to be.
Ascertain God's plan for our life, by keeping an ear open to our soul's yearnings, and then follow our higher self, instead of getting mired down by false ego plans of our mind, just wanting kudos from life, and to bloat itself up with unnecessary thinking, and repetitive thought commands.

@innertalks Some play it safe, lead a disciplined life, and share their experiences.
Such sharing of experiences benefits the younger generation especially as long as wealth is earned honorably.
Of course, some may react with envy!
I feel "each in their way" is better than "one size fits all", like in some countries where they have to bow down to dictators.

@innertalks Billionaires and paupers live cheek-by-jowl in the poorest of countries.
While the rich enjoy the rain from their high-rise apartments, the poor scamper to stay dry from the relentless onslaught.
