Birthday wishes

I only wish those on their birthdays who are in my life.
Neither do I feel happy when someone who is not in my life wishes me on my birthday.
Birthdays are to be enjoyed and not a day when one spends half the time picking up the phone specially receiving calls from those who do not bother about me the whole year through
What is your take on this?

The world is changing. I have been talking about todays world that only is interested in getting together havihng fun and that's it. And that includes calling just on birthdays.

@allknowing - My mother in law refused to answer the phone the day of her birthday. She hated those calls.

I am in agreement with you since on social media there are some people who used abusive words to wish my a happy birthday which is uncalled for.

If someone is not in my life I would rather they do not remeber me on my birthday
