I had fun with a neighbor yesterday!

A woman named Maria lives a few apartments down from me. She has invited me cycling, but we cycle differently, She likes to put on a helmet cycle on local roads. I like to put on my flip flops and cycle on the bike trails, stopping to bird watch or just reflect. But yesterday we chatted in the parking lot. It turns out she likes to go shoot hoops with a small basketball for exercise. She has issues with her arms and shoulders, and playing with a basketball is physical therapy for her. She showed me her basketball, which she keeps in her car, and we played basketball catch in the parking lot. My knee is still "iffy," so I'm not going to try and run yet, but I am open to playing basketball catch. Hopefully we'll do it again.
