Actively not... Welcome to Jan. 2025

I am not really sure why I keep leaving and coming back to this site. I do enjoy this site when I do come back. Life happens I guess.
So much has happened. My family and I went from owning our first home (a townhouse) to selling it for a decent amount, to living with my in laws for almost 2 years so my husband could get a transfer, to finally moving closer to my mom in a different state, to being able to buy our dream home and finally settle in and be happy. My son is thriving here. I couldn't be happier.
Still trying to find part time work (it's hard and draining) but I do enjoy streaming and making an amazing community from that and a lil bit of extra cash monthly.
It's been such a wild ride. My family is the absolute best. I do miss some of my friends from the state we moved from, but I know in my heart this was the best decision and move. Through the hard times and tears, we made it. I will continue to keep going forward. Hopefully I stick around here a little longer. <3

Some people come and go. Many have left altogether. It's still a great site and great community with lots of great people. But like many have said, life does happen and of course it takes precedence over a place like myLot. Hope to see more of you around here, and welcome back.

I think you can adjust, and beside you can do video call to say hi to your friends from your old town.
I am so happy for you and your family to finally have a home and settling there for good. Enjoy the weekend.

Welcome back to mylot! Perhaps you are the first returnee of the year as far as I am aware. I joined mylot almost 9 months ago. Have seen new members and few returnees in last 2 quarters, The important thing is you have returned. Yes , there would be things in life which would keep us busy and would need more attention. And you did right there and then there are many in mylot who do take short and long breaks. You may see some of your old virtual acuqaintances and friends still there in mylot. Hopefully , would see more discussions and responses from your side. Welcome once again back to mylot!
