Good morning myLot

Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 36 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 48 which is the highest it has been for weeks. I hate winter.
I woke up at about 6:30am because why not on a day off? 
I was hungry so I knew I wouldn't be able to fall back asleep. I got up and made myself something for breakfast. Now I'm just catching up on the news and InternetLand. I'm sure I will head back to bed at some point.
No big plans for the day. My neighbor is going to a concert or something tonight so she is going to drop Whiskey (French bulldog) off around 4 or 5pm. Charlie will be happy to see him. Adso will be annoyed. Claire is still figuring out what she thinks about him. 
In the meantime I'm sure I will get up to some kitchen projects. I want to make some banana bread for sure. I have a few other things in mind too. Who knows? I've got 3 days to play in the kitchen.
What's everyone else up to today?

I´m mylotting in bed, trying to escape from the extreme heat we are having. I just washed some dishes in the kitchen and was happy to get my PJs wet on the process
