Updated Status on the Missing Suitcase

We're now on Day #4 that United Airlines has had my suitcase.
Whenever I call I get told misinformation (lies!). For example, yesterday morning the agent told me it was going to be on a plane from San Francisco, connecting through Houston, then to Louisville, KY at 7:30 pm.
But it went from San Francisco to Denver to Houston . . . BACK TO SAN FRANCISCO! I have no idea why.
So at 1 am this morning I used the text feature to contacted the United Airlines Baggage Agent because I wanted a record of our conversation. Here's how it basically went..
UNITED: your bag is in San Francisco It'll be delivered to you in the next 2 hours.
ME: but I'm in Louisville, KY. The bag is in San Francisco.
UNITED: your bag is in Louisville, KY and has already been delivered to you.
ME: No, you already said the bag was in San Francisco and I have an Apple Air Tag in the bag telling me it's in San Francisco. My question is why did it go from San Francisco to Denver to Houston back to San Francisco and when is it coming to Louisville, KY?
UNITED: we need a copy of a screen shot of your bag tag tracker
ME: Why? You already KNOW it's in San Francisco. When is it coming to Louisville?
UNITED: I'll ask San Francisco to send you your bag.
This is so incredibly frustrating. I'm prepared to lose my suitcase and all its contents but I want to cry with anger and frustrating over being lied to.

Hey, tell them to give you a FREE ticket to go to San Francisco and pick it up.

You're not going to believe this. I'm on hold with them now. It's been delivered to some house in Spring, Texas.
