Waiting for the snow to hit, I doubt we will get much of anything though because the temp will be above freezing all day. However, we can always hope. I would like to see big, fluffy flakes. Anyway, yesterday's trip did not go at all according to plan. Friend was sick, which he neglected to tell me until I was up there. His stomach seems to be very delicate. Then the guy who was supposed to work on the snowblower was delayed at the chiropractor, as they were waiting for the chiropractor's flight to come in. That begs the question, is it proper to call a chiropractor a doctor? They haven't gone to medical school, but they do go to chiropractic school. I think I have heard them referred to as doctors of chiropractics.
Anyway, I never saw him. Also, another friend of ours was visiting Peter our other friend. I wanted to see him too. It turns out it was his birthday. She said if Steve was sick, I probably shouldn't come over, because she didn't want Peter to get sick. Friend really wasn't that kind of "sick" He has digestive issues he won't address. However, I didn't argue the point..I was kind of dismayed at that point anyway. On the bright side, I did get to go to lunch, and also went to the Amazon Fresh store up there. They had a few good buys. There was only one checker at the register and she didn't show up for awhile. I am not thrilled with self check out unless I only have a few things, especially not there, as I had some questions to ask.
When I got back here I was thrilled to see my Commanders pull out a stunning victory over the Detroit Lions,,that kind of made the day's misfortunes all worthwhile. Also, I should add I had a lovely, gift care package of sorts from a mylotter. That was great too!

@JudyEv it's just a combo of fear and not wanting to spend the money

@snowy22315 It's a shame he won't look after himself a bit better.

You know I was watching the Commanders game! I hope the games today bring as much fun as that game brought. From the QB to the head coach, it was great to see their success.
I’m glad to hear you had something waiting for you when you got home. That’s always fun!

They aren't MD's. They are doctors of chripopracty. They aren't considered to be doctors here either, but it is proper to refer to them as doctors, as you would osteopaths Their education is quite involved typically as long as med school

@snowy22315 - They are not allowed to be called doctors in Italy, but they are here in Switzerland because they have to attend medicine school first.
