Police officers with the Summitt County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) responded to an emergency call from officials with the Schoolmarm ski run at the Keystone Resort in Colorado on Monday January 6 that a car was parked illegally.
The deputies of the CSCO found a note attached to the window stating that the driver took a wrong turn when the driver looked at his GPS and ended up in a ski slope by accident.
The police were able to get a tow truck to remove the auto from the ski slope in Keystone Colorado and return the auto to its owner.

The driver did leave a note on the windshield saying he was sorry for leaving the car at the ski resort.

@rakski I guess the driver was either shamed or scared to call for help.

That is true that snow on the ground can lead to drivers making errors not knowing where they are going.

That could cause all kinds of problems. Glad no one was hurt.

That is true that the auto being in a ski lodge caused problems.

I am in agreement with you that the auto has been removed from the ski lodge.

I wonder if they let him off the fine for illegal parking, or maybe they should have sent the fine, to his GPS operator.

Probably send the fine to the GPS operator.
