Today is a lazy day

After church this morning, Bob and I picked up a few groceries, just in case we get snowed in. That is really not in the forecast, but there is a casserole Bob wants me to make. We are supplied though with about everything and can skip the stores for a bit. He actually went in the store with me, so we got some more impulse things, like Bratwurst. It was on a good sale. There was a Bob Johnson's side dish--maple pecan mashed sweet potatoes that he wanted. It was marked down. I fixed it, and of course he found it too sweet. He said "It tastes like syrup!!", then I reminded him, that is what maple is. He said "oh, yeah". He cooked the bratwurst for lunch. We had the maple pecan sweet potatoes and a broccoli/carrot cooked combo that I had put together. He liked that. Tonight we had coffee and apple pie. I napped a while in my chair but I am ready for water to drink and to go to bed. No work tomorrow, but I will still get up early to take out the trash.
