The Lovely Night Visitor

Every morning at 5 when I come out of my room I find the night visitor, crouching or walking about confidently. I understand the cat is my friend and has come to hunt mice and rats. I don't chase her away. After she has begun to visit rodents are seen less in the house. Annoyed at the growing number of mice and rats sometimes I have tried to get rid of them by leaving poisoned food under tables and almirahs. I got some success in reducing their number. But they always returned. However, I have now this night visitor and she is of a great service. Her paws and teeth are the best instruments to control the rodent population . I don't have a photograph of hers so I am posting a stock photo.
