Whew looks like the site is working again. Not sure what is going on here lately. . . I was up in the middle of the night but then got back to sleep until about 6:30. It is crazy how my sleep is nuts on days off. Oh well I just go with it. I have all day to work it out. haha I've been watching the pre-inauguration festivities. Nice to see the Bidens being classy and participating unlike the Trumps the last time around. I'm very confused by Melania's outfit though. The first time around she was clearly trying to emulate Jackie Kennedy with her robin's egg baby blue dress. Today? Black and white with a black hat--it looks like she is headed to a funeral. She didn't even wear black to former first lady Rosalynn Carter's state funeral. It seems a very strange choice to me. She is moving back to the White House but it doesn't look like she is happy about it. In any case I have an hour of tutoring this morning and then I will return to watching the inauguration news. I also have had some cooking projects going. I've made a batch of Nebraskan runzas and some high-protein bagels. I've been busy while this site has been down. I have more things on deck--chocolate chip cookies, beef barley soup, and spinach-mushroom tomatillo sauced enchiladas. The oven and dishwasher will be busy today! It is only 26 degrees F outside and it snowed last night. I will have to go clear off my car at some point. I definitely don't want to have to deal with that tomorrow morning. The parking lot looks relatively clear but whatever because I'm not going anywhere today. I have everything I need already to get through the day. What's everyone else up to today?
