Hung up on by my medical provider.

One of the following two is true: a) I was having a major psychiatric incident this morning. I called my medical provider to make sure my psych meds were ready, even though it's MLK day. I clicked on the bot buttons as required, but could not get the information I needed. When I asked to speak to a representative, I was hung up on. I am now putting on my bullet proof vest and am arming myself with a machete. b) I was having some pretty bad back pain this morning. But I had planned ahead. I called my medical provider to make sure my pain meds were ready, even though it's MLK day. I clicked on the bot buttons as required, but could not get the information I needed. When I asked to speak to a representative, I was hung up on. I will take some extra Naproxin today and try again tomorrow. Isn't it interesting how one small thing can change the course of history? I hope there will be no mass killings in the Bay Area today. I can stand a little pain. Have you ever been frustrated by "bot world"?

Often. But I haven't felt the need to take up a machete yet.

I might be dangerous if I had one and started thinking about things.

I felt the need but ... the cost of machete prevented me from resorting to such an act...the day somebody gifts one to me, I might just go ahead...

How does a bullet-proof vest help back pain? Wouldn't the extra weight acerbate things?

@TheHorse If you imagine it enough, you might do it so it might be better not to focus on it.

I do a lot of posts about heading off to Guitar Center. Have my posts been banned by Trump?

I do not like talking to bots. No matter what I say, they don't understand me. Make a payment or representative is incomprehensible to them.

It can be a tad frustrating. I feel good for the CEOs, who have bigger pools at our expense But I think unemployment could be even lower if they hired telephone representatives. Maybe even in the USA.

@TheHorse Especially in the USA. I know people looking for jobs. That would be good if they speak English.

@akalinus What kinds of jobs do they seek? I see help wanted signs everywhere. I feel like we have partially recovered from Covid. But San Francisco's downtown businesses are still hurting.

Oh, yes, bots can drive a man to drink... lots of hot chocolate, in my case. Usually, if I can't get past the bots, I hang up on them, wait a while until I'm not so upset and then start the process all over again. I hope your back is feeling better now, pony.
