I understand why Biden pardoned Hunter and others this morning on the January 6 Committee, Dr. Fauci, Harry Dunn, etc. . . but I don't get why he included other family members at the last moment. That wasn't announced until he was already sitting inside the US Capitol just before Trump took the oath of office. I don't get it. Sure there have been Republican rumblings about Biden's brother somehow being involved in shady stuff but the pardons were for siblings and their spouses. Nothing specific has ever been raised. I understand why he would want to shield his family from costly legal battles but ugh the optics are awful. Awful. I am not happy about it. I'm disappointed.

Three words: Biden Crime Family. I wonder what was in that laptop we never got to see? Probably the details of the syndicate? Will we get to see it now that Trump's the president? Maybe? Probably? And if there were nothing to hide and no wrongdoing, as Biden suggested... Why the need for pardons?

Because Trump ran on the theme of retribution and Jordan and Comey made it clear they were never going to give up

@NJChicaa Define retribution. Is it getting revenge or is it simply holding bad people accountable for wrongdoing? Trump was spied on, Clinton commissioned a false dossier, he was accused of Russia collusion, indicted on false charges, impeached for no high crimes and misdemeanors, and look at what they did to anyone associated with him. SOMEONE needs to be held to account. That's not retribution. That is righting the ship and restoring faith and integrity to our legal and justice system. Beyond that, the Biden administration went on and on about how just and fair our legal system was when they were pursuing Trump. "The law is prevailing," they said. Well, if THEY trusted the courts were all operating within the law and above board, what would they have to fear if Trump tried to weaponize the legal system? According to the left, it was impossible. The law is the law and that's that. Apparently not.

Doesn't surprise me. Biden knows he'd never have another chance, and this was his game plan all along. I'm sure of it. Guess his true colors are showing.

Well, now Biden can take some nerve pills and have a nice long rest before starting other projects,
