Day 2 – Answers to Prayer
2 Chronicles 1:1 Now Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and JEHOVAH his Elohiym was with him and exalted him exceedingly.
2 Solomon spoke to Israel, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds, to the judges, and to every leader in Israel, the heads of the fathers’ houses.
3 Then Solomon, and the assembly with him, went to the high place at Gibeon; for the tabernacle of meeting with Elohiym was there, which Moses the servant of JEHOVAH had made in the wilderness.
4 However, David had brought up the ark of Elohiym from Kirjath Jearim to the place David had prepared for it, for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem.
5 Now the bronze altar that Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, he put before the tabernacle of JEHOVAH; Solomon and the assembly sought Him there.
6 Solomon went up there to the bronze altar before JEHOVAH, which was at the tabernacle of meeting, and offered a thousand burnt offerings on it.
7 On that night Elohiym appeared to Solomon, and said to him, “Ask! What will I give you?”
8 Solomon said to Elohiym, “You have shown great mercy to David my father, and have made me king in his place. 9 Now, O JEHOVAH Elohiym, let Your promise to David my father be established, for You made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude. 10 Now give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this great people of Yours?”
11 Elohiym said to Solomon, “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches or wealth or honor or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life—but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king— 12 wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings have had who were before you, nor will any after you have the like.”
13 Then Solomon came to Jerusalem from the high place at Gibeon, from before the tabernacle of meeting, and reigned over Israel.
14 Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen; he had one thousand four hundred chariots and twelve thousand horsemen, whom he stationed in the chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem. 15 Also, the king made silver and gold as common in Jerusalem as stones, and he made cedars as abundant as the sycamores which are in the lowland. 16 Solomon imported horses from Egypt and Keveh; the king’s merchants bought them in Keveh at the current price. 17 They also acquired and imported from Egypt a chariot for six hundred shekels of silver, and a horse for one hundred and fifty; thus, through their agents, they exported them to the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Syria.

Answers Prayer
Have you ever wanted something badly and were afraid to ask even when told you could ask for anything you wanted?
JEHOVAH gave Solomon a blank check when He told Solomon to ask for anything he wanted. Solomon asked for wisdom. In response, JEHOVAH gave him more wisdom than anyone before or since. He also gave Solomon what he didn’t ask for: riches, wealth, and honor.
When you accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Lord, He also told you to ask for whatever you needed.
John 14:13 “Whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. (NKJV)
Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. (NKJV)
1 John 3:22 And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. (NKJV)
Yes, there is a condition to our receiving what we ask for from Him. We need to keep His commandments.
1 John 3:23 This is His commandment: that we should believe in the name of His Son Iesous Christos and love one another, as He gave us commandment.
24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. By this we know that He abides in us, by the Pneuma whom He gave us.
Mark 11:24 “Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
What do you need from Yeshuwa? Ask, believing, and He will give you your request as He did to Solomon, so that the Father will receive glory in your request.
Let’s pray: Father, grant me the requests of my heart because I believe in You. I love You with my whole heart, soul, mind, and strength. Let my requests bring You honor and glory. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
