The Prodigal Luggage Has Been Returned

After five or six days, depending if you count the initial travel day or the first day it was missing, I have FINALLY received delivery of my luggage from United Airlines. They have offered me $300 in future United Airlines Vouchers as compensation for their massive screw-up and the long delay. I haven't decided whether or not to accept that or whether I ever want to fly on United Airlines again after all this. But the luggage came intact in good condition with all the contents still there.

that is amazing. I think my underwear is still in New Jersey. The people I talked to thought it was funny when I was in San Francisco and my luggage was in New Jersey. They snickered about it.

Yay! I guess that makes you a bit happier. Our luggage (friends and mines) got lost Somewhere between DC and Manchester NH. The airline brought it to us the next day, in a town about half an hour from Manchester.
