So, I was outside earlier wrapping my two outdoor faucets when I walked by the deck which has open space beneath, I heard a noise a bit like a cat hissing, and then a bunny tore out of there and in to the woods. Not a bad place to pick to hang out in these cold temps. I wonder if she will be back?

Probably the safe and warm spot is under the deck

I also hope that the bunny rabbit finds a warm place to stay soon.

She might have her little warren set up under the deck, if so, she'll be back.

Maybe she was trying to feel the warmth of the air from your dryer vent, that would be a likely place for her to warm up. We had a bunny that used to love to hang out on cold days near ours.
You'll have to watch for her tracks to see if she returns.
We showed Harper and Willow some bunny paw prints in their back yard and theirs comes right up to the second top step to the backdoor. They think it is great to see them.

The dryer vent doesn't come out there, but I am sure they can get some residual heat from the house.

@snowy22315 Yes, bunnies are resilient little animals. If there is heat to be found, they can find it.

You never know. It would probably be a warm safe space for her

Rabbits will burrow in the ground for warmth, it was just more easier to go under your deck is all
but where did the hissing sound come from?? cause rabbits don't make that sound.
