Spent 3 hours packing and throwing stuff away. I think the roll back is just about full. Still have my office to pack up this week. Sure did help having TJ and his grandson over. We would have never gotten that room done without them. Heading to the grocery as it is supposed to snow here. Do NOT want to be on the road with locals. I have been here 30 years, but I still know how to drive on snow. But most people here do NOT! No school or local Govt. offices open Tues and Wed. as if it DOES snow, we don't have salt trucks or graders to clear the roads. And the bridge will be closed. Hope everyone is staying Warm and Safe!

Where are you? I lived in the Southwest as a kid. They usually shut everything down if there was a significant snowfall. I remember two feet of snow once every few years. Kids went out and played on sleds or even pieces of cardboard, whatever they could use. Businesses shut down. Usually it melted pretty fast.

I have seen some of those places that get very seldom snow and the entire world stops for them. You are in Texas, right?

Tired of this cold. Often wish I lived somewhere that didn't have salt trucks because they don't need them
