The Physiotherapist arrived yesterday and one look told him it is not Sciatica but degeneration of the knee structure. He has prescribed several exercises but says he cannot prescribe any tonics or medicines. For that I suppose I will have to visit an Ortho..
We have a hospital close by and this Physiotherapist visits that hospital. I am slowly trying transfer myself for my needs to this hospital rather travel miles where I had earlier got treated for my accident, etc. Hope to find an Ortho... there

I am more concerned about weakness rather than pain

@allknowing Yes on weakness being a concern. I went through months of physical therapy, trying to build leg strength and back strength.

Oh, it's OA.
It is common for women 40 and above to have osteoarthritis, especially for the knees. I think my right knee is a candidate already. The reason why I am trying to lose weight. To lessen the burden for the weight bearing joint such as the knee

@allknowing yes, true. as we get older, the muscles become lax and lessen in mass because we seldom use them so it is good to exercise
