A snow day

A big snow storm was predicted 6-12 inches was what we were supposed to get. They cancelled school ahead of time but it was a very over rated storm. We barely got any snow.
In the morning my son and little daughter played in his room. Listening to music and playing guitar etc. It makes my heart so happy when he spends time with her. She adores her big brothers and sister.
My little one and I made a craft that we will be giving out at our Valentine’s Day geocaching meet up which you can see in the photo.
I tried out two new recipes. PBFit protein bites (which were disgusting )and Stawberry Chocolate Protein smoothie.
For dinner I made Crazy crust pizza again which was something I heard about from @snowy22315. I perfected it this time and really liked it. My little one loved it too.
I also made baked potatoes for my husband but I myself ate leftovers as I don’t like baked potatoes. The idea for the baked potatoes was from a comment on one of my posts by @GardenGerty. I’m always scrambling last minute to decided what to make so I was happy to get this idea and have potatoes that needed to be used up.
After dinner my husband was looking at cars online at a local dealership. I didn’t want to look and he got mad. I don’t want the stress of all the choices right now. A cars a car to me so I just want him to do all the looking around for what he prefers then narrow it down to a few for my input. After looking awhile at that dealership he said how their prices are all $2000-$3000 more then Kelly blue book value and they do not go down at all on prices that what the window says is what it will be. He had a lot of issues with them when he bought his last truck there I think even looking at what they have to offer is a bad idea but he said the guy in charge back then was fired.

You should have come to visit last week when we got about 8 inches (20.3cm) of snow... You would have seen me being not very happy, even though I didn't step outside while the snow was on the ground here. (Believe me, you don't want to come visit right now. Our temp outside is -15C. 
)
I did take a picture of the snow when we only had about half that amount on the ground, though. I'll share that photo with you.

@sallypup as long as it have 4WD and is good on gas I’ll like it. I got your Yule Tale last night my little girl and I opened the package this morning. I love it already just based on the first page. Would it be okay to share a photo of it here if I block the personal names out?

@GardenGerty same with me and there are lots of other dealerships with lower prices so I don’t think he should even look at that one. He was wrong though about dealerships not taking an R-title car. I called and asked and they said it’s not much difference and will take it on a trade.

@celticeagle nope as far as I know he only looked at that one dealership online. I think we will be going out this weekend looking. He hunts Saturdays so we will have to wait until Sunday to go when dealerships close earlier

. I hate car shopping. Seeing that he will be paying for it and handling most of the picking it out it shouldn’t be as bad for me as other years.

@snowy22315 nope I forgot when I went grocery shopping to get all purpose flour. I was down to maybe two cups and since I’m trying to avoid leaving town with my old car I didn’t want to use flour on cake. My daughter and her boyfriend went grocery shopping yesterday and I asked them to grab me a bag so now I can make it soon. I want to use peanut butter frosting on it.

@sjvg1976 I think anyone who has never seen snow or felt these horribly cold temperatures would be interested in experiencing snow for the first time. However unless someone loves to go skiing often most people who are used to snow don’t like to have to deal with it. Slippery roads are scary to drive on.

Crazy crust pizza sounds good for supper. (I'll pass on the smoothie. Pretty makes them all the time and I am not a fan.)

@Daddyevil I love smoothies. If you want the recipe for the crazy crust pizza let me know it was very easy to make. Unique for sure as it’s a batter you mix and pour into a pan for the crust. It doesn’t get crispy like regular pizza crust and doesn’t use yeast so there’s no rising time.
