Out Right Creepy

Tonight something happened at work that was just plain out creepy.
Me and a coworker was standing behind the customer service desk and a new security guard on the other side, we were in conversation when I felt someone staring at me.
I looked over towards the cashiers and in the second line a man and woman were checking out, the woman paying but the man was staring at me. He never took his eyes off of me, all the way out the door.
Me being me I watched him, giving the same stare back.
I don't know him and the woman never looked at me.
I found that to be one of the most creepiest moments in all my years of working retail.
Ever had that happen to you?

Daughter visited us from out of state a couple of years ago. We took her to a restaurant- we had known one of the waiters some time before but that had been over a year. He had quit the place. Anyway, here we were with daughter, thinking to have a nice meal. It took forever to get service. Waiter was this side of rude but we did get a meal finally. Then it came time to leave. Nobody showed up to give us a bill. I finally got up and went to the back of the restaurant to find the waiter. He acted like I was weird. He accepted my debit card but both him and a lady kept staring at me like I was? somebody weird. Very very cold. I wonder what those jokers would have done if I had walked out without paying the bill?? Both hubby and I have been to restaurants from Canada to New Orleans so we know how to act in a restaurant. We are not bums. Very very odd moment.

I think I would have asked to talk to the manager before I left the restaurant. There's no excuse for bad service or rudeness from a waiter/waitress. They are there to serve you, not to be a**holes to the customers
My aunt once took my mom and I out to eat at a nice restaurant. When service was slow, my aunt stood up and loudly asked if the owners permitted lousy service in their restaurant. You should have seen waiters/waitresses RUNNING to our table to offer to help us.
I TRY not to be that rude but I learned that if you make noise, either your waitstaff shows up quickly, or the owner and the waitstaff show up.
I can understand slower service if the place is packed, but when it isn't, someone needs to let the owner know there's a problem.

@DaddyEvil Agreed. And I like your Aunt. I think that waiter person who was so weird to us was acting like the head guru. I had the feeling that the woman staring at me had something to do with running the place. I just wanted to pay my bill and when I did I knew I was not going back. I like East Indian food but no way will I go back there.

I don't need a guard, I'll handle it.

If I don't know the person, how can he have a grudge against me?

I cannot think of one particular time, but when my first hubby was deployed I worked retail and there were one or two co workers that creeped me out. My lead or CSM or whatever she was said it was because I looked like someone that you could easily talk to. My brother said it was because I still wore my High School class ring and they did not notice wedding band on other hand and wanted to flirt, thinking I was younger.

No, I would probably stare back too, and give him a taste of his own medicine. Let's hope he doesn't show back up to the store again.

That's creepy. When I was 12 and on crutches with a broken leg, my parents and I were at an Arby's with in a Mall which had a big plate glass window looking out over a parking lot. A guy kept looking through the window directly at me. Luckily by the time we left, he disappeared. I was scared he might follow us.

I have had some strange moments in my live and they have always upped my anxiety, I watch a lot of crime shows that always give me a vivid imagination so I am glad I rarely go out now, Who knows what that guy was thinking,

Yes, and I never like it when it happened. I don't know why anyone would do that, either.
