Remember infomercials?

Remember those that were so popular on the late night cable stations? This is what I think of when I see Melania and her husband, the Putz, selling their guitars, tennis shoes, dolls and holiday ornaments etc. for far more than they are worth.
Well guess what Trump is doing now? He is going to sign an executive order to have the Treasury Department add to our strategic reserves large amounts of U S based coins like Crypto, SOL, XRP, and USDC. So he can prop up that market.
I have heard about these coins. I don't understand them and even wonder how legit they really are. Is this move any good for our country?
Insider trading laws were made for a reason. Should this be regulated like stocks are?

It makes me think it is a crooks way of doing business. I wouldn't trust it myself.

I remember the infomercials - as seen on TV. Whenever a product or products go on air, we braced ourselves for an overflowing calls. I received calls for Scunci Steamers, Ab Rocket, Ronco Rotisseries, Perfect Litter, Alexis Vogel, Haband, ShamWow, QuarterMania, Spigel Catalog. I wonder if these products are still available in the US?
