Tutoring voucher drama

As you know I do a lot of online tutoring after work during the week. No one wants to do several of the sciences (biology, earth science, environmental science, forensic science) so the secretaries at all 3 district high schools throw them at me. They know I'll take them.
I meet with the students via Google Meet (like Zoom) that is linked to the Google Classrooms. At the end of the session a time sheet is generated and emailed to me that says who attended, when they entered, and when they exited. Payroll started demanding that we print and attach them to the vouchers to verify because apparently some people were doing like 20 minutes during their lunch at school and then billing for 60 minutes.
Fine. Whatever. I don't have an issue doing that. What I DO have an issue with is the fact that the times are incorrect up to like 25% of the time. 2 weeks ago I had one that said I was only in the Meet for 44 seconds while the student was there for 1 hour and 1 minute. Yeah sure--I popped in and out but the teenaged student stayed the entire hour by themselves. When there is an error I just write on the sheet that I was there for the full hour. I haven't heard from anyone questioning it. . .
. . . until today. The union president emailed me asking if I was being paid for the tutoring, if there was a voucher system, and questioning the 44 seconds. Um, how would he have access to that very specific information about one of my meets? Like if administration was questioning my attendance then why didn't they contact me directly either via email or the building principal? Why would the union president know anything about it if I didn't initiate a conversation with him about the issue?
I asked the head building rep about it and he said that it seemed suspicious. I replied to the union president stating that I always do the full hour despite the fact that the time stamps don't always reflect that. He said to keep track in the future (I normally just throw away my copies of the signed vouchers) because he wanted to make sure teachers were being compensated for their time.
At this point between all of the tutoring and class coverages I've been doing the past couple of years the Payroll department should be sending Edible Arrangements and flowers to this apartment since they see the address so many times each week. I have never given anyone a reason to question if I'm doing them for the full time. Parents aren't calling up complaining because, well, I always do the full hour.
I was talking to my work bestie about the whole thing and we both agree that it is a shame that we have to submit the time sheets--especially when it is a well-known problem that the time records aren't always accurate. If they are going to start refusing to pay the vouchers that don't reflect 60 minutes of tutoring then they can have fun trying to find someone else to pick up all of the slack. Yes I certainly appreciate the extra $$ but I don't appreciate being questioned and I definitely won't appreciate them rejecting vouchers when I did the full hour.

That's a bit rude. I hope it gets sorted. Sounds like they need to get their ducks in a row - love that saying but don't get to use it very often. lol
