Saw the dentist today

I got to see the dentist this afternoon finally. It's been, oh let's see... maybe 5 years since my last exam (pre-covid anyway). It was a very thorough deal. Not only xrays but photos of my teeth using something like the Doctor's sonic screwdriver. Got all the secret gum pockets measured, too.
I go back Thursday for a cleaning, and then next Tuesday for 3 fillings.

@BarBaraPrz Oh, just a year, but I know I’m supposed to go every six months. I don’t have dental insurance so I can’t afford cavities. The fear of a big dental bill usually gets me to go.

Well between the crowns, root canals, braces, replacement crowns, the fixed bridge, miscellaneous fillings throughout the years, I probably could have put someone through college, too. I'm glad that the government is paying for this now.
