It was cold, so George didn't want to venture outside. However, I did get him off the couch today. I moved some boxes and he looked out the window. In my office. I need to takle the Pod, See what I can do here about making it safe for either of us to walk around in. It's a lot of work.

I just got him to stand and side-shuffle to better rest on the couch.

With our health declining, it's best to keep the house as open (floor walking area) to keep from falling, that's what I am trying to do in my place, cause I have days where my stability isn't like it should be still after 2 yrs.

I know and I keep wide walking paths in my home, too. I stacked the aforementioned box against a wall to prevent it from being a tripping hazard. I just couldn't or can't really use my office because I need to get to my husband if he needs me. I didn't think he'd want to look out a window. I adjusted things so he could.

@kaylachan keeping wide walking paths with elderly's walking around is a must do thing as well as having things easy to get to for them.

Darn if there isn't a barrier and that being a lot of work.

It is great that you love George so much.So much that you are looking for ways to make it safer for both of you to move out. That's really great.
