feeling good

I hope the photo appears. I made it to the trail with my pups. I don't have one of those handicapped placards for the car so I ended up parking the car a ways from the start. The pups got more of a walk and I got a challenge. I like to set a goal so that is what I did: I told myself that I would walk to the end of the wooden bridge. It felt good to be out and about. Moxe was intrigued by quacking ducks in the river below us.
We must have walked at least a quarter mile, maybe more. The pups did well when people and their dogs walked toward us. I always stop and have Rufus and Moxe to my side or behind me until the oncoming party is away from us. This system works out well. I'm glad I didn't waste today's sunshine.

I'm glad it was warm enough for you and the pups to get out and get some exercise. Our high today was 13F so I didn't set foot out of the house.
That is a nice bridge to walk along. There are several like it around where I live.
I hope you're having a relaxing evening.

@DaddyEvil Brrrrrr. That time I visited my Mom in Missouri it snowed the first day then the next day the temps hit the low 70s. And a tornado siren went off. Fun times.

@sallypup I ignore tornado sirens. They don't come into our city anyway. They go around it.
I'm sure you've heard or maybe said, "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes and you'll get something else." That fits Missouri really well.
Our high tomorrow/today is supposed to reach 40F so that will be nicer. Pretty and I really do need to pick up our meds and buy groceries so we'll be out and about in the relatively warmer afternoon.

Great walk, and a lovely bridge. I’ll bet that’s amazing in autumn.
