There is no end to where, when and how intense a senior needs care. I am experiencing it. I talked about it earlier here and the major issue now is degeneration of joints. Degeneration is not curable but it can be kept under check by taking some supplements and physiotherapy But if one becomes aware and does what is needed to be done even in one' s younger days the situation can be kept under control Hats off to this lady who won the award - Britain's Got Talent. She was 80 at the time You can watch it here

@allknowing Depends on the person. Things we do in our youth can have adverse reactions. And sometimes, you can do everything right, and still end up wit problems later in life due to factors beyond your control, like genetics.

for a 80 yr old to be that limber is AMAZIN, you right it's the way we treat our bodies when we're younger to be like this 80 yr old later on in life, but MOST of us don't think about it till it's too late.

The one thing we do not do is exercising. That is the secret to keeping our body supple and that with the right kind of food is the approach that this lady in the video perhaps believed in.

I just watched that video - Wow! I could never dance like that even as a teenager! But still I hope I will be able to stay active. And on that note I'm going out to do some work in the garden!

I wish I had bought better shoes in my younger days when I worked on concrete floors for up to 12 hours a day. I am paying for it now with bad knees.

I am doing my best to prepare. Having worked in musculoskeletal sciences I know more than most about what can go wrong!
